the last 2 visits to Coylton F'n chippy have been proper good authentic Scottish food. Top notch black pudding supper and crumbed fish, traditional chips and the finest selection of irn bru and other fat piercing beverages in the whole village. Looking forward to my next trip home!
This 'Chippy' cooks food from fresh upon order so be prepared for a 15-20 minute wait.
It is well worth the wait in my opinion. Excellent chips, excellent crispy batter. What more could you ask for!
Curry sauce and gravy come in good size pots, portions are always pretty good in terms of amount of chips.
We were super delighted with our suppers tonight. Everything tasted great and made fresh fresh. Lovely and friendly staff who were more than happy to help and serve. Best chippy we have been to in a long time.

Been here many times but this visit was not so good I ordered a burger supper the batter was very soggy & burger didn't taste so good. If I had not driven 5 miles to get it I would have returned it.
Fantastic wee chippy, nipped up from Sundrum for a takeaway, fish n chips were excellent and pizza was nice. Reasonable prices.

After a late night hospital appointment all I wanted was food from the coylton chippy, the food is just amazing, the smell of vinegar and the taste of real proper chips, battered sausage and haggis, only 10 mins from my house, if you love real chips this is the place for you..

Absolutely love the coylton, everything is so fresh, and cooked to perfection, I would recommend here if you like a good old fashioned chippy five stars..
